DRB Facility Services named a 2025 Fast 50 company by Boston Business Journal

2025 BBJ Fast 50 - DRB Facility Services

The Boston Business Journal has named DRB Facility Services to its exclusive 2025 Fast 50 list, recognizing the 50 fastest-growing private companies in Massachusetts. This recognition follows a series of notable achievements for DRB Facility Services, including being ranked 9th in the Boston Business Journal’s 2024 list of Largest Janitorial Firms in Massachusetts, and 10th among the Largest Minority-Owned Businesses.

“The Boston Business Journal Fast 50 recognition underscores the strength of the relationships we’ve built with our valued clients and the commitment of our entire team,” commented Anthony Samuels, Founder and CEO of DRB Facility Services. “We are honored to be among Massachusetts’ fastest-growing companies and remain focused on providing outstanding service and fostering continued growth within the region.”

A major driver of that growth has been the executive collaboration formed in 2018 between Samuels and Kenneth Martin, who joined DRB as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. At the time, Samuels had already built a strong foundation of trusted client relationships with organizations such as Blue Cross Blue Shield, Tufts, Harvard Pilgrim, and Boston City Hall. Martin brought to the company a deep background in building and strengthening organizations for private equity and had previously served as CFO for one of the largest janitorial services firms in the country. His expertise in financial management and operational strategy, paired with Samuels’ client-focused leadership, has been instrumental in scaling the company, which has seen approximately 246% growth over the past seven years.

The Fast 50 companies are selected and ranked based on revenue growth from 2021 to 2024. The numbers are compiled by the Business Journal’s research department based on direct survey participation.

“We are so excited to celebrate this year’s Fast 50, bringing together the leaders, founders, and professionals working at the region’s fastest-growing private companies,” said Carolyn M. Jones, market president and publisher of the Boston Business Journal.

DRB is dedicated to delivering superior quality, tailored solutions, and exceptional customer service, making significant contributions to the vibrant Boston economy.

A Fast 50 special publication is scheduled to run in the May 16 weekly edition of the Business Journal and online that week as well. A celebration to honor this year’s Fast 50 will be held on Tuesday, May 13th, at Big Night Live in Boston, where the rankings will be announced.
